Welcome to the home of the recreated 1st Royal Dragoons.

The 1st Royal Dragoons were originally formed in 1661. Since then they have fought in most of the major battles of the last few centuries.

After amalgamating with the Royal Horse Guards in 1969, they now form the Blues & Royals, part of the Household Cavalry.

This famous regiment has been recreated today with kind permission of the Commanding Officer of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment.
